How to Transplant a Pear Cactus

The prickly pear cactus is an easy plant to propagate and transplant. Whether you need to move the cactus and give it a home in a new location or you are hoping to grow more or give pads out so that friends can start plants. The best time to transplant is early spring, although cacti are not as fragile as other plants.
