How to Press Oil From Soybeans

Relieving some of your burden on the agricultural infrastructure is a noble goal, and it begins with growing your own vegetables. You may wish to grow soybeans, which you can eat or press for their oil. Soybean oil is a very common cooking oil, which you can use to make breads, fried food and more. Pressing soybeans to produce your own oil can be a very fulfilling hobby, in addition to saving you some money and time at the grocery store.

Instructions

      Load soybeans into the oil press hopper. The hopper holds the beans, gradually allowing a few beans at a time into the pressing area in a manner that prevents clogs.

      Place a bucket underneath the oil press nozzle.

      Place a bucket underneath the oil trough.

      Turn on the oil press. The press will begin processing seeds. The oil press nozzle will exude soybean meal, which will fall into the bucket. Oil will drip from the press and pour down the oil trough into the second bucket.
