Put your Amorphopallus titanum in a green house. Create at least 15 feet of air space for the Amorphophallus titanum to grow. Its stalk averages between 8 and 10 feet in height, although some have grown larger.
Set the greenhouse controls to high humidity year-round. This simulates the titanum's natural African environment.
Acquire a large pot that's at least twice the size of the tuber. Line the bottom of the pot with bark.
Add potting soil, but leave 2 inches empty at the top. Place the tuber deep into the soil, and then finish the top of the pot with a soil-less medium, such as additional bark.
Place the pot so that the titanum gets bright, indirect light. Adjust the greenhouse temperatures to between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and up to 100 degrees in the summer.
Water the titanum moderately during the growing season and reduce watering frequency during dormant periods. Excess watering can damage the roots.
Fertilize with liquid fertilizer weekly during the growing season with a 20-10-20 mix.
