Measure and mark a 4-foot-diameter circle for the base of the teepee trellis.
Space six bamboo poles evenly around the outer edge of the circle. Pound each pole 1 1/2 to 2 feet into the ground, inserting them at an angle so that you don't have to bend them.
Pull the bamboo poles together at the top and tie them using a plastic zip tie or twine.
Space teepee trellises eight feet apart when using more than one in a row. Lay a slightly longer bamboo pole between them, wedged among the tops of the bound poles, for added support.
Grow your plants around the base of the teepee.
