How to Get Rid of Thrips in Household Plants

If you find that your houseplants have an infestation of thrips, you are not alone. Thrips are common microscopic insects that cause major damage to your plants and foliage. They feast on the leaves, buds and blossoms of plants, and often leave behind damage such as streaks or a silver tint on the plants. While a vast variety of pesticides are available at your local department store, there is also an organic method that is effective in killing and controlling thrips. Using a natural remedy provides positive results without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides.

    • 5

    • 10

Spray house plants daily with a light mist of the mixture to kill thrips and prevent them from returning.
