Moss doesn't care where it grows, as long as the conditions are right. This means that moss will just as readily attach itself and spread over indoor-outdoor carpeting as over any other surface. Fortunately, moss is also a fairly delicate plant and can be killed with a common household ingredient -- vinegar.
- White vinegar
- Spray bottle
- Scrub brush

Pour white vinegar into a spray bottle.

Spray the vinegar onto the moss. The vinegar will act as an herbicide.

Wait 10 minutes, then scrub off the moss with a scrub brush. Rinse the carpeting, and let it dry.
