Instructions

    • 1

Spread the newspaper out over your surface to help catch lavender buds.

    • 2

Place an opened 8 oz. jar on the center of the newspaper.

    • 3

Hold the lavender over the jar with the blossomed end pointing downward over the opening of the jar.

    • 4

Position the lavender between your thumb and forefinger on your free hand. Pinch the plant between your fingers, just beneath your other thumb and forefinger, holding the lavender.

    • 5

Slide your thumb and forefinger downward, knocking the lavender buds loose. They should all fall into the jar, but pick up the ones that don't.
