How to Make Sprouts Last Longer

Bean sprouts have a grassy flavor and high levels of vitamin C. Sprouts make nice toppings on salads and have been part of the Asian diet for hundreds of years. Vegans and veggie lovers alike use bean sprouts as part of their daily diet. You can find fresh sprouts at some grocery stores and produce stands. Health food stores also carry packages of these tiny shoots. Make these healthy foods last by cleaning and storing them properly.
