Choose lavender sprigs with long stems. They hold together better than shorter stems and you can fit more sprigs in a bundle that way. Gather the sprigs together in your hand and tap the bottoms of the stems until they are even.
Wrap a rubber band around the stems about midway up. Cut a piece of ribbon about 10 inches long and tie it in a bow around the sprigs, hiding the rubber band. Cut a piece of twine and tie it in a double-knot just above the rubber band, leaving the ends loose.
Gently put the heads of your lavender into a small canvas bag and pull the drawstrings tight. Hang this satchel in your closet by the long twine ends to scent your clothing. The bag prevents fallen lavender buds from getting all over your floor.
Decorate your home with lavender bundles. Bundle and tie them as in steps 1 and 2, leaving off the canvas bag. Loop the ends of the twine over a curtain rod, right between the curtains, and tie them tight.
Screw some wall hooks into your wall, using small wall hooks so you can stagger them or screw them in a straight line. Tie the ends of the twine on each lavender bundle together in a bow and hang one lavender bundle from each hook.
