How to Grind Flaxseed

Flaxseed is high in antioxidants, omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, and protein. The seeds may be golden or dark brown, but nutritionally, there isn't any difference between the colors. The seed is inexpensive and readily obtainable in grocery stores. The downside is that flaxseed has to be ground to release the beneficial ingredients. Chewing whole flaxseed doesn't break it up enough to be digested.
