Instructions

    • 1

Clean a vase with hot water and soap to remove any bacteria that could harm your tulips. Rinse well.

    • 2

Fill the vase with lukewarm water and add a pack of flower nutrients, which can be obtained from a floral shop or grocery store which sells flowers.

    • 3

Clip 1 inch from the bottom of the stem diagonally and remove the leaves from the bottom of the stem so they will not be in the vase.

    • 4

Place the blooming tulips in an area in your home away from direct sunlight. They need a cool area in your home to prolong the life of the blooms.

    • 5

Cut the stems 1 inch every three to four days and change the water at the same time. Add another flower nutrient pack, mixing well, before placing the tulips back into the water.
