When buying online, check with the Better Business Bureau to make sure there are no complaints against the company and also that the company has a reasonable return policy. You can also purchase kits that start in logs or bottles.

  Grow your mushroom kit in an area that is the same as outlined in the first section. Make sure to keep it moist with non-chlorinated water.
