Place the plastic saucer liners inside each of the saucers that came in your Chia Herb Garden kit. Set the matching pots inside the saucers.
Wet one sponge for each pot and ring it out. Set them in the pot and pour water over them until the saucer collects 1/2 inch of water.
Pick one herb to grow in each pot and dump the entire contents of its packet on the moistened sponge in the pot. Cover with a piece of plastic wrap.
Label the pot with the herb that is planted inside it and set it in a warm spot.
Keep an eye on the water level in the saucer. If the water level goes below 1/2 inch, add more.
Move your plants to a window in your home that receives six hours of sunlight each day after the herb seeds have germinated.
Remove the plastic wrap from the pots once the herbs have grown 1 or 2 inches tall.
Pour a liquid plant food made for houseplants on your Chia sponge once the herbs have grown their first true leaves. You will need to purchase the plant food separately at a garden center. Follow the plant food label to apply the correct amount.
