Fill the growing container about 3/4 full of potting soil. Place one bulb into each container so the tip of the bulb is just above the potting soil level. Add additional potting soil to the growing container to finish planting the bulb.
Evenly saturate the soil in the container immediately after planting the tuberose bulb.
Place the container in a location that receives bright light with temperatures around 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Provide water for the tuberose to keep the soil evenly moist.
Fertilize the tuberose plant once each month by mixing the fertilizer with water according to package recommendations for the size of the growing container. Pour the fertilizer over the soil carefully to fertilize the tuberose plant.
Clip off withering blossoms with pruning shears.
Remove the tuberose plant from the container in the spring and carefully clear away the soil from the bulb to examine it for offsets (new bulbs). Remove the offsets that are larger than the approximate size of your thumb by firmly snapping them off. Plant the offsets in separate containers and replant the main bulb in the container.
