• For healthiest plant development, Kandy King sweet corn needs a fertile, moist but well-drained soil in a location that receives at least 10 hours of direct sunlight daily. Improve fertility and texture of soil prior to planting by incorporating organic matter into the soil.

Concerns

• This sweet corn cultivar is somewhat susceptible to Stewart's bacterial wilt disease. A garden free of corn flea beetles diminishes exposure to the disease-causing bacteria.
