How to Grow Ornamental Corn Tiger Cub

Ornamental corn tiger cub (Zea mays "Tiger Cub"), or tiger cub corn, is a low-growing variety with variegated foliage. It has wide, deep green leaves striped with off-white and reaches heights of 2 to 5 feet. Like other types of corn, it is an annual plant that can be grown anywhere with warm summer temperatures. It does best in full sun and soil that drains well. The seeds can be sown directly into the garden once the soil temperature has warmed to at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
