Located in the farming community of Cambridge, Nebraska, Nebraska Corn Processing LLC, has an annual production capacity of 44 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol. The plant also processes and markets 400,000 tons of wet distiller's grains with solubles for use as livestock feed.
From its facility located in Plainview, Nebraska, Husker Ag LLC mills and processes over 25 million bushels of corn to achieve its annual output of 75 million gallons of denatured ethanol. The company also produces about 450,000 tons of modified wet distiller's grain which is marketed as livestock feed, primarily for cattle.
Located in Aurora, Nebraska, the ethanol production facility of Nebraska Energy LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aventine Renewable Energy, which is located in Pekin, Illinois. The dry mill plant utilizes approximately 17.5 million bushels of corn to achieve its annual production output of 50 million gallons of ethanol. As co-products, the plant also produces both wet and dry distiller's grains.
Advanced Bioenergy LLC initiated ethanol production in 2007 at its 260 acre facility in Fairmont, Nebraska. Annual ethanol output is currently 110 million gallons. The plant is ideally located to produce this much output, as it was purposely sited in one of the most productive corn growing regions in the state. The natural gas-fired facility also produces 320,000 tons of dried distiller's grains each year as well. The Fairmont plant is conveniently located close to both interstate highways and railroads, giving it the advantage of getting its products to market more quickly.
Located on 171-acres in Ord, Nebraska, the ethanol production facility constructed there is one of eight plants owned and operated by Green Plains Renewable Energy. The plant commenced production in 2007 and currently has an annual output of 50 million gallons of denatured ethanol.
