Instructions

    • 1

Cut an 8-inch-long length of ribbon from the roll. Place it in front of you flat, and straighten it to remove wrinkles or creases.

    • 2

Cut an 8-inch length of aluminum tape from the roll. Press it evenly down the center of the length of silk ribbon. Since .75-inch aluminum tape is slightly smaller than 1-inch silk ribbon, you will be able to see the ribbon along the sides of the tape. This serves as a trimmed accent for your bracelet. Flip the taped ribbon over to show the ribbon only.

    • 3

Cut two lengths of flexible jewelry wire measuring 8 inches each. Use a medium gauge wire that is stiff but bendable. Place each wire parallel to one another at the top and bottom edges of the taped ribbon.

    • 4

Cut another 8-inch length of ribbon from the roll. Squeeze a 1/8-inch thick line of glue down the center of it. Press it over the exposed ribbon side of the bracelet, encasing the wires. Press the glued ribbon down firmly and let it dry for 10 minutes.

Wrap the completed bracelet around the top of your wrist, shaping it into a cuff.
