Passion flowers are beautiful blooming vines also known as passion vines. They're typically hardy in the U.S. Department of Agriculture plant zones 7 and warmer. If you started your passion flower indoors to transplant it to the garden, or if you overwintered a container passion flower indoors, harden it off before planting or placing it outdoors. This way, your passion flower will slowly become accustomed to the outdoor conditions, causing your plant much less stress. Begin the hardening-off process just after the last expected spring frost date in your climate.
