How to Fertilize with Seaweed

Homemade fertilizers are not only a healthier option for your plants, but they don't cost as much to make in comparison to chemical fertilizers. Seaweed is an ingredient often found in homemade plant fertilizers because it is loaded with potassium. Even if you don't live by the seashore, you can fertilize your plants and flower gardens with seaweed. Seaweed is sold in garden centers in a concentrated powder.
