Arrange the flowers in a solid-color, opaque vase or bowl. You can also use a mug, pitcher or another dish. To make a transparent bowl or vase opaque, wrap ribbon around its exterior, securing the ends with a bow as the final touch. Use a hot glue gun to keep the ribbon in place long-term, if desired.
Fill the vase with decorative stones, rocks or marbles added around the stems after you finish arranging the flowers in a clear or a translucent vase, bowl or dish.
Insert ferns or other greens along the outside of your floral arrangement to help hide any stems that protrude above the vase or bowl line.
Place the vase or bowl inside another object that can hide the floral stems. For example, place a bowl in an open-top birdhouse or a basket. Use sheet moss to conceal the inside vase or bowl.
Arrange the flowers on a table and roll them in florist's cellophane, leaving a wide opening on top where the flowers are, but tightly securing it near the bottoms of the stems. Tie the bundle together with florist wire and then layer a ribbon over top. This works well if you are presenting the flowers by themselves rather than in a vase or bowl.
Wrap the stems in ribbon, starting at the top near the blooms and working your way to their bottoms. Use a drop of hot glue to secure the end of the ribbon. This is also a good way to present flowers without a vase or bowl; however, they will need to be placed into water as soon as possible.
