These bulbs need to be planted at least 7 inches deep in the fall.
Tulips are one of the most commonly grown types of Holland bulbs. These bulbs need to be planted 4 to 8 inches deep in sandy soil in full or partial sun. Tulips are available in many different varieties. They may be in a wide range of colors and shapes. Some are single blooms, double blooms, or have fringed edges.
