The Best Lawn Mowers for a Half-Acre Yard

Generally, experts advise using a walk-behind mower if your yard is a half acre or less. Larger yards will probably need a riding lawn mower or lawn tractor, but for a half-acre yard, a self-propelled mower is sufficient, allowing the homeowner to mow faster and with less effort than if he uses a push mower.
