Turn on your hose briefly to locate the leak and then turn off the water. Mark the exact spot with a permanent marker, making an "X" where the leak is located.
Use the X-ACTO knife to slice cleanly through the hole where the leak is located, cutting the hose in two pieces.
Place the hose clamp repair kit between the two pieces made by the cut. The hose repair clamp has nozzles and clamps on both ends. Loosen the clamp on both ends with the Phillips screwdriver.
Insert both ends into the nozzle at each end of the hose clamp. Both ends need to be shoved as far into the hose clamp as possible. Tighten the hose clamp on either end with the Phillips screwdriver.
Check for leaks. Turn on the water and run water through the hose, making sure the hose does not leak.
