Husky Powerwasher Troubleshooting

Husky powerwashers are designed to clean large areas or surfaces, including sidewalks, home exteriors, driveways, cars, decks or boats. The powerwasher uses a very strong blast of water to force dirt and debris off the object or surface and can be used with or without a cleaning solution. Only adults should operate the powerwasher to reduce the risk of injury from the use of electricity and the water pressure velocity. If issues arise with the Husky powerwasher, troubleshooting methods may be useful in determining and possibly resolving the problem.

Instructions

    • 1

Verify that the Husky powerwasher is plugged into a power supply if it is not operational. Reset or replace the circuit breaker or fuse if needed. If the power supply is functional but the powerwasher is not working, reset the ground fault circuit interrupt (GFCI) by pressing the red "Reset" button on the powerwasher power cord.

    • 2

Clean the powerwasher nozzle with a clean, damp cloth if water is spurting from the nozzle or the water supply seems low. Ensure the water faucet is turned on fully.

    • 3

Pull back on the safety lock, located on the handle trigger, if the unit does not spray water or the trigger is locked in position. This will release the lock.

    • 4

Turn off and unplug the powerwasher if the water pressure is low. Disconnect the water hose and clean out the water inlet screen on the water valve. Rinse it well with water and restore it into the machine. Connect the hose firmly and ensure the water hose is straight and not bent, kinked or trapped.
