Inspect the snowblower to ensure that the wheels, body and components are firmly connected and appear in working order.
Check the oil and fuel levels, and fill as needed. If fuel is spilled on the body of the blower, allow it to dry before proceeding. You should only add fuel while the engine is still cold.
Locate the push-button electric start near the handle of the snowblower. You can also use the manual lawnmower-style pull cord to start the engine.
Hold the lever on the handle in the closed position while starting. You will need to hold the lever on the handle in the closed position during use. As a safety feature, this snowblower shuts off if this lever is released.
