How to Dispose of Acorns in Brick, New Jersey

Brick Township is a municipality located in Ocean County, New Jersey. Its public works department manages waste removal and recycling services. You can get rid of plastics, newspaper and cardboard, as well as acorns. If the oak trees on your property are dropping too many acorns, you can gather them up and take them to two different dumps for disposal.

      Drive your acorns and brush to the Brick Township Recycling Center, located at 836 Ridge Road. The center is open to Brick residents from 8:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m. Unload the acorns in the appropriate brush pile.

      Drive the collected acorns and brush to the Ocean County Northern Recycling Center, located at 601 New Hampshire Ave. in Lakewood. The center is open to Brick residents from 7:30 a.m to 3:00 p.m. Unload the acorns in the appropriate brush area.
