How to Kill Grubs Without Pesticides

Grubs are the larval form of beetles and they damage your grass and your plants by nesting in the ground and eating plant roots. Grubs are small, legless and white and they are easily recognizable if you pull up damaged plants or check near the ground in your garden. Use a natural, chemical-free method to rid your garden of bugs.

Peel six large cloves of garlic by cutting off the flat ends with a knife and stripping away the papery cover.

    • 2

Mince the garlic finely using a sharp knife.

    • 3

Place the garlic in a glass bowl.

    • 4

Allow the garlic to dry for 24 hours.

    • 5

Mix two teaspoons of water into the garlic.

    • 6

Allow the mixture to sit for two hours.

    • 7
