It uses a Bosch WSR 6F, NGK BPMR 7A or Champion RCJ 6Y spark plug, all of which are interchangeable and have a 0.02-inch electrode gap and M 14x1.25 standard, 0.37-inch long thread.

Fuel and Oil Specifications

• The Stihl MS 360 requires a fuel mix of unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of at least 89 (RON designation) and two-stroke engine oil classified as "TC" with a 50:1 ratio of gasoline to oil. The recommended chain oil for this model is Stihl Bioplus or any chain-and-bar lubricant oil with a non-fling additive. The chain lubrication mechanism of the MS 360 is a fully-automatic, speed-controlled reciprocating oil pump that also allows for manual flow control.

  Bar: Stihl reduced kickback bar (green label) for 0.325 in. and 3/8-in. pitch; Rollomatic 16-, 18- or 20-inch with sprocket nose.

  Chain: Stihl low kickback chain for 3/8-inch pitch; 0.325-inch Rapid-Micro 2; 3/8-inch Rapid-Micro 2.

  Chain sprocket: 8-tooth for 0.325-inch pitch spur sprocket or 7-tooth for 3/8-inch spur sprocket.

  Duromatic, Rapid-Duro and Stihl yellow label cutting bars and chains are also compatible with the Stihl MS360 in 3/8-inch or 0.325-inch pitch.
