How to Clean Algae From Tombstones

A way to let people of the present and future know of a person's existence, tombstones mark the final resting place of our dearly departed. Since tombstones stay outside and deal with the elements, they will quickly become dirty and covered in a greenish growth. This growth is typically algae and can make the tombstone look dull and dirty. Fortunately, you can safely remove the algae and clean the tombstone with a few inexpensive items.

Things You'll Need

  • Water hose
  • Bucket
  • 1 tbsp. non-ionic soap
  • Soft-bristled brush
