How to Put String on a Shindaiwa T222

The Shindaiwa T222 is a straight-shaft, gas powered, string grass and weed trimmer. The company states that this model, "has all the power and performance of a professional model...but at a lower price." The T222 is equipped with a Speed-Feed trimmer head for easy string replacement.

     Line up the two eyelets on the trimmer head.

     Thread the line through one eyelet until it emerges from the opposite eyelet.

     Pull out approximately two arms' length of string through the trimmer head.

   • 4

     Turn the large knob on top of the trimmer head to wind the string on to the spool.

   • 5

     Cut the line to the desired length for trimming.
