Make sure the pool is dry and clean.

    • 2

Tape up any sharp edges that could tear the liner.

    • 3

Use the push broom to smooth the sand bottom of the pool.

    • 4

Open the liner, and gently stretch across the pool, it should hang well past the edges of the pool.

    • 5

Begin filling the pool with water.

    • 6

Adjust liner, every ten minutes or so, by walking around pool and lowering as necessary.

    • 7

When pool is four to six inches from full, stop.

    • 8

Remove rails from top of pool edge, a few at a time, tucking the liner into place as you make your way around the perimeter of the pool. Replace rails.

    • 9

Fill the pool with the remainder of water. The weight of the water should make the liner lie taut and unwrinkled.
