Dolphin HD Pool Cleaner Instructions

The Dolphin heavy-duty automatic pool cleaner from Maytronics is a self-contained unit that can clean the pool while you're at work or asleep. Once you've set the unit into the pool, there is nothing else you need to do. Robotic pool cleaners come in a variety of sizes and price points to suit your pool cleaning requirements and budget. When using a robot to clean your swimming pool, remember that it is not a toy, so you should stay out of the pool while it works.

Instructions

  1. Cleaning the Pool

    • 1

Move the caddy so it is in the shade and about 10 feet from the pool edge and ensure that the cable on the unit can reach all the walls of the pool.

    • 2

Remove the Dolphin from the caddy.

    • 3

Lock the handle into a diagonal position on the Dolphin. Reposition the handle after each use by pressing the yellow latch down and sliding the arm to the opposite end of the slot.

    • 4

Connect the cable from the Dolphin to the power supply on the back of the caddy. Start by lining up the notch and groove, and then push the cable end into the plug and firmly tighten the collar.

    • 5

Place the Dolphin into the pool and rock it from side to side so it releases trapped air.

    • 6

Release the Dolphin and it will sink to the bottom of the pool.

    • 7

Plug the power cord, from the power supply on the caddy, into a grounded outlet.

    • 8

Turn on the power. The Dolphin will automatically complete an 8-hour cycle. If you want it to perform another cycle, shut off the power for 30 seconds than restart it.

    • 19

Adjust the top of the filter so all excess material is in the center of the two frames.
