How to Attach a Pool Sprayer

A water sprayer for a pool is an inflatable playhouse that has water ports built into it. The water ports spray water and create a fun atmosphere for children when playing around the pool -- not in the pool -- is the desired activity. Connecting the sprayer to your pool's water pump only takes a few minutes to do, so installing and uninstalling a sprayer is a straightforward process.

  Turn off or unplug the water pump for your pool before you connect the sprayer.

  Loosen both water return connectors located on the water pump then pull off the connectors.

  Place the water reduction adapter --supplied with the sprayer -- into the strainer on one of the water return connectors then secure the water return connector to the pump. The reduction adapter reduces the flow rate of water through the pump and provides a good stream of water through the sprayer.

  Thread the coupler for the sprayer onto the threaded nipple on the water pump for the other water return pump.

  Turn on the pump to start the flow of water through the sprayer.
