Locate and turn off your pool pump. Locate the piping in the pump.
Measure the cell unit that comes in the chlorinator set and cut a length of pipe out of the pump that matches the length of the piping. You will be connecting the cell to the piping, but make sure to leave at least 6 inches of piping that will lead to the cell.
Apply primer to the cut pipe ends.
Place glue onto the included fittings that come with the cell components.
Screw the fittings onto the ends of the cell and place the glued ends of the fittings into the piping.
Use your hand to tighten the fittings. Wait for the glue to dry.
Place the included controller unit near both an outdoor power source and the pump and cell.
Plug the power cable into the outdoor power source.
Connect the three labeled plugs at the ends of the cables coming from the cell into the labeled ports at the rear of the controller.
Turn on the pool pump and the controller will automatically turn on. You will be prompted to enter the capacity of your pool using the arrow keys on the front of the controller.
Calculate the capacity of your pool and enter it in the controller using the arrow keys.
