Instructions

    • 1

Set the connectors on the work surface. Rotate the connectors so there is an opening pointing directly up, one pointing out and the last ones point toward the other connector.

    • 2

Apply PVC glue to one end of a piece of pipe and insert it into the opening on one of the connector that is pointing toward the middle at each other. Hold in place for a minute until the glue sets.

    • 3

Measure the pool noodles and make a line across the noodles every 24 inches.

    • 4

Cut the noodles with a serrated blade knife along the lines.

    • 5

Slide the pipe attached to the connector into the noodle and attach the other end of the pipe to the other 3 way connector.

    • 6

Apply PVC glue to one end of a pipe and insert it into the opening on the 3 way connector that is pointing straight up. Repeat for the other connector.

    • 7

Apply PVC glue to one end of a pipe and insert it into the last opening on the 3 way connector. Repeat for the other connector.

    • 8

Slide four sections of pool noodles onto the pieces of PVC attached to the 3 way connectors.

    • 9

Slide the last two pieces of PVC that are not connected yet into the remaining 24 inch pool noodle pieces.

    • 10

Apply PVC glue to the ends of these pipes and attach the 90 degree elbow pieces. Apply glue to the open ends of the elbow pieces and attach them to the open ends of the pipes glued to the 3 way connectors.

    • 11

Cut one piece of rope 10 feet long. Fold the rope in half and tie to the left side piece that will be the seat in the middle of the pipe.

    • 12

Stretch the rope to the opposite side of the seat and wrap each end of the rope around the pipe. Stretch the rope back to the side you first tied the rope to. Continue stretching the rope across the seat and wrapping around the pipe until you reach the end of the rope. Knot each end and burn the tails with a lighter to prevent fraying.
