Instructions

    • 1

Drill holes in 1 inch from the end in each of the bamboo poles with the 1/4-inch drill bit.

    • 2

Construct the canopy frame with the bamboo poles by inserting the tent pole shock cord through the hole in one of the poles. Tie the end of the cord tightly to secure it in place. Stretch the cord over to the next pole and wind it through the hole. Continue pulling the cord through in this manner until you end up back at the first pole. Tie off the cord tightly in place. You must stretch and secure the cord tightly to each pole to make a sure frame.

    • 3

Mark off the spaces for the grommets along one edge of four pieces of fabric to create the tops of the walls. Make the spaces 1 inch from the edge and 2 inches apart. Make a mark at each corner on the bottom edges of all five fabric pieces.

    • 4

Punch holes where you marked the spaces with the hole punch. Attach grommets through the holes with the grommet tool. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to secure the grommets using the tool.

    • 5

Insert the shower rings through the grommet holes along the top edge of each piece of fabric. Attach the rings to the tent cord on the canopy frame.

    • 6

Insert the tent stakes through the grommets on the bottom corners of the fabric. Push the stakes into the ground to secure the canopy walls.

    • 7

Cover the top of the canopy with the remaining piece of fabric. Tie tent cord through the grommets on the bottom corners and secure the cord to tent stakes. Insert the stakes in the ground to hold the top down on the canopy.
