Position the camper on flat ground and ensure it is completely horizontal before you begin. Inspect the rail around the camper and remove any obstructions, as well as any sealant in the rail.
Feed the white beading of the awning through the rail in the camper. Use two people and ensure that the right and left pegging points are the same distance from the ground when you’re finished.
Sort the components of the frame according to the enclosed frame diagram. Attach the clamps along the frame and attach both of the corner angles.
Fit the corresponding leg rafters. Set this portion of the frame against the cushion pads of the awning. Pull out the leg rafters to lengthen them until the corners are in the top corners where they’re supposed to be. Tie the legs rafters with binding tape and position both corner angles onto the front side of the porch awning. Attach this section to the camper wall using the roof rafters.
Slide the canopy stub poles into the corner angles and then slide the canopy roof poles through the sleeves in the canopy. The roof poles are attached crosswise on the stub poles. Set the roof poles on top of the spikes on the stub poles once they’ve been fed through the sleeves.
Tension the canopy stub poles so the roof poles in the front just come in contact with the fabric on the inside of the porch awning canvas. Tighten the clamps by tightening the screws so the sections of frame won’t slide into each other.
Tighten the front poles in a crosswise fashion, then tighten the roof rafters so they run parallel to the camper wall. Tighten the roof rafters on the awning side, then adjust the leg rafters height so they’re all the same.
Attach the ladder straps to the anchor fittings. Push the pegs in the ground, beginning at the corner of the side walls closest to the camper. Push pegs in the ground at the two front corners then step back to see that the side walls are straight. Push the remainder of the pegs in around the awning.
Slide the draft skirt through the rail at the bottom of the camper, then inspect the frame one last time to ensure it has the proper tension. Tighten any screws or clamps that may be a little loose.
