Interlocking Pavement Projects

Interlocking pavers provide solutions for challenging designs as they come in a large variety of shapes, sizes and colors. Pavers are made of concrete and last for many years.
  1. Patio

    • The most important part of interlocking pavement projects is the planning. Remember to slope the base of the patio area away from the house. You must determine the finished height including an adequate amount of crushed aggregate stone for the base, bedding sand and the pavers. Excavate the site to the calculated depth and compact the soil with a plate compactor. Be sure to locate a full set of instructions prior to beginning your project.

    Driveway

    • Clay brick interlocking pavers are often used for driveway construction. This type of paver comes in a selection of earth tones. Clay pavers are fired at a very high temperature that locks in the color so they will not fade. Clay brick pavers withstand the test of time and provide an original look due to the fact that no two bricks are exactly alike. Driveways are usually in the front of the home and can add to the value. An interlocking paver driveway should be installed by professionals.

    Walkways

    • Walkways provide functionality as well as beauty to your home and landscaping. Walkway pavers are a great tool for creativity. Interlocking pavers can be used to provide an aesthetically pleasing path through a garden, around a pool or surrounding a focal point in your landscaping. Walkways do not have to be level, they can go up and down slopes and around corners.
