Types of Brick

• Use your driveway brick pillars to identify the address of your home. This location is preferable, especially if you have a long driveway, because seeing numbers on the house from the road is difficult. Mount a plaque to the side of a pillar with your family name and the housing address number; order a custom plaque from a trophy store or online shop. Alternatively, mount individual numbers to the pillar. Brick pillars also work well as posts for mailboxes, but the pillar must be the proper height for a mail carrier to reach from his vehicle.
