What Is an ACS Quick Coupler?

When you are operating heavy equipment, such as excavators and loaders, the ability to move tools located on the machines without loss of any fluid or air pressure is essential. Attachments called quick couplers provide the machine mechanics necessary to accomplish these movements.
  1. What is a Quick Coupler?

    • A quick coupler is an attachment used in hydraulic systems on machines to connect lines together without losing any fluids and pressure. The coupler is made up of two halves, the plug half and the coupler half. Quick couplers generally are used on machines that are connected and disconnected regularly. The coupler also is used to exchange tools on the machine, such as loader forks and buckets.
