How to Adjust a Toro Bubbler

Toro is a leading provider of landscaping supplies, including a large line of in-ground sprinkler systems. The bubbler sprinkler heads are stationary and do not rotate around like most other sprinkles. Bubblers are especially useful along borders and in gardens, where long periods of light water exposure are beneficial to the plants. The sprinkler heads can be adjusted to increase or decrease the range of water spray. The user-friendly design makes it possible to make necessary adjustments without the need for special tools.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the sprinkler system. It's easier to accurately adjust the spray level while the sprinkler runs. A raincoat or other type of water-resistant clothing may be desirable for this job.

    • 2

Stand next to the sprinkler head and locate the spray adjustment screw on the top. Turn the screw clockwise to reduce the pressure and create or a shorter spray, or turn it counter-clockwise to increase pressure and create a wider spray.

    • 3

Stand back and observe the adjustments. Confirm that the water reaches all of the nearby plants.

    • 4

Make any small adjustments, if necessary.
