Styles of Garden Arbors

Entrance Arbor

• As the name states, an entrance arbor is erected where you would like to enhance or create an entrance way. No matter what material or design you choose for your arbor, the placement of the arbor will add a welcoming feeling to your lawn or garden. Place the arbor at the point of entry to your yard to accentuate the gate area, or install as a divider/entrance to sectioned-off areas such as patios or gardens to create a segmented effect.

Focal Point Arbor

• A focal point arbor adds a decorative touch to other backyard lawn furnishings and adornments. If you would like to draw particular attention to patio areas, benches, swings, statues or flower beds, install an appropriately sized garden arbor above and around the items. The arbor will serve as a frame that extends the visual effect and draws the eye to the items or furnishing you want to display.

Square Arbor

• Square or Camelot style garden arbors also come made from various materials and design patterns and only differ from typical arbors in the sense that they have no arch at the top. The top section lies horizontally flat and flush across the top, resting on the side posts. Square or rectangular arbors can be placed in garden sections, entrance ways or over and around any backyard furnishings. Hanging potted plants or clinging vines from the horizontal beams softens the look and adds interest.
