Instructions

  1. Cutting Pavers With a Masonry Blade

    • 1

Mark the spot that the paver needs to be cut down to with the contractor's pencil. If you need it cut to an angle, marking along the entire edge of the cut will help you to keep a straight line.

    • 2

Place the paver on your saw table and put on your safety glasses. The saw table gives you a stable work surface to offer added safety and accuracy when cutting.

    • 3

Line up the mark indicating where the paver needs to be cut with the guide window on the circular saw.

    • 4

Start the saw blade before moving it into the paver and run the saw along the cut line.

Cutting Pavers With a Masonry Brick Chisel

    • 5

Mark the place that the paver needs to be cut with the contractor's pencil.

    • 6

Place the paver on a solid surface, such as the ground.

    • 7

Line the chisel up with the mark you made on the paver.

    • 8

Strike the top of the chisel with the hammer, forcing it through the paver and cutting along the line indicated. Be careful not to hit yourself with the hammer when you do this.
