Street Lighting Tools

Whether you need to light a residential area, business park or highway, manufacturers offer numerous street light tools either powered by the sun or electricity. Streetlights come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The street light output up to watts depends on the light solution.
  1. Solar-Powered Street Lights

    • Enertia Engineering develops and makes solar-powered LED street lights. Unlike the traditional street light solutions, EnerSolar street lights do not need electricity, wiring and a trench to work. The solar-power light installs in a parking lot and hangs from a pole or can be set up on a building. The EnerSolar street light measures 25.2 inches by 25.7 inches by 10 inches and weighs 30 lbs.

    Head Roadway Fixtures

    • EverLast manufactures street light tools, including head roadway fixtures. The Type III Smart Series Cobra runs for 100,000 hours. The street light fixture works to illuminate off-street roads, secondary roads, highways and freeways. The light outputs 40 watts and 3,350 lux.

    Light Fixtures

    • GE offers the Syra street light tool for use in a variety of street settings, such as boardwalks and pedestrian areas. The solution comes in two different sizes, depending on a street light output of 50 to 250 watts. Another street lighting tool includes the GE LED Area Lighter that has a life of 50,000 hours. The lights mount in place with a pole arm and output up to 189 watts.
