# How to Clean White Pea Stone
White pea stones, also called pea gravel, are small, white rocks. Since they are usually smooth, the stones are often used in driveways and pathways through a landscape, such as from a house to a garden. Pea stones may also be used in aquariums or as mulch. If you want to clean white pea stones before using them, you can do it easily.

- Bucket
- Hose

Place the white pea stones into a bucket. Fill the bucket halfway or less with stones. Do this job outdoors, or use a bathtub or utility sink.

Insert a garden hose deeply into the stones and turn on the water. Indoors, turn on the tub or sink faucet. Let water run through the stones and overflow from the bucket.

Swish the gravel around with a stick or your hand. Turn off the water after it runs clean.
