Instructions

    • 1

Add the mica pigment powder to one of the 2-ounce dishes. This product is natural, and can be found in craft and hobby supply shops.

    • 2

Add the coconut carrier oil and beeswax pastilles to the other 2-ounce glass dish. Microwave the bowl on high for two minutes. Stir in the shea butter, which cools the melted solution slightly so it can whip into a cream.

    • 3

Shake the kohl mica pigment over the dish of warm wax and oil. Stir quickly, nonstop, as you shake the pigment into the dish. This immediately turns the cream in your bowl into a bold colored smudge solution. Stir for an additional two minutes to fully disperse the powdered pigment.

Add the sodium lactate, which is a preservative that can be found online or in craft stores. This prevents bacteria from forming in your makeup. Alternatively, you can bust a single capsule of pure vitamin E oil into the solution. Whip the mixture for another minute. Let it sit uncovered for an hour so it fully cools and settles.
