How to: Borders Around the Trees on a Slope

If a tree is planted on a slope, landscaping can become tricky because the mulch you usually set around the base of the tree can slide down and away. To keep mulch around the tree and add an attractive landscaped touch, you can create a border around the bottom of the tree with smooth rocks that will hold mulch in place, even on a sloped surface. Doing the job yourself is easy enough to avoid paying for a professional.
