Varieties of Encore Azaleas

Encore Azaleas transformed the world of the traditional spring-blooming azalea when introduced in 1997. There are 24 varieties with myriad color possibilities in single and semi-double bloom types. The mature shrubs range from 2 feet to 5 feet, with sizes that will work for almost any area in your garden. These unique azaleas bloom three times a year. They thrive in USDA Hardiness Zones 7-10 and offer evergreen foliage. They promise “more blooms, more often,” according to encoreazalea.com. and receive excellent reviews from gardeners.
