How to Make Concrete Look Like Slate

If you like the look of slate but find it too expensive, you can transform concrete to look like slate with readily available materials. Slate comes in a variety of colors including red, purple, green, blue-gray and black. Some varieties are mottled, which means they contain a combination of colors.
